Girls 1st XI are off to the Nationals!
On Thursday 30 March our Girl's 1st XI Cricket team competed in the Auckland National Qualifying Final at Eden Park Outer Oval. The winner of the fixture earned the right to represent Auckland at the Nationals which takes place in Lincoln in December. Their opposition, Epsom Girls Grammar, are current National Champions and were a formidable opponent. The girls played exceptionally to produce an outstanding win!
We are very proud of what they have managed to achieve so far this year and look forward to seeing what they do at the Nationals as they represent Auckland as Takapuna Grammar School. Well done to Johan Kirstein for all his efforts and tutelage as the girl's coach.
