TGS Haka Challenge 2022

The annual TGS Haka Challenge was held on Wednesday 6th July and is one of the most anticipated events in the TGS school calendar. This year, Andrew Baker, Chairman of the Takapuna Grammar School Board kindly donated the Te Hapara Cup, to recognise the winning House in the competition.

A big thank you to our judges, Principal Mrs Mary Nixon, Stacey Morrison and BOT Chairperson Andrew Baker who were treated to five rousing renditions of the Takapuna Grammar School haka Te Karanga Pakanga. The judges commented on the mana and energy that was shown by all students during the performances.

2022 Placings were as follows;

1st - Kaha

2nd - Ihi

3rd - Wehi
