Peer Service Team Raise $529 for Multiple Sclerosis
Peer Service TGS worked together in order to help spread awareness and fundraise for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a neurological disorder that damages nerves, causing many nasty side effects that are displayed differently from person to person.
To raise funds to support MS New Zealand, Peer Service held a bake sale on June 6th, selling a range of items including Pasta, Samosas, Fanta and lots of home baking that was supplied by not only the people that were helping with this project, but also fellow TGS students and staff who wanted to chip in. The bake sale was held during both morning tea and lunch and by the end of the day, raised an amazing total of $529!
It was such an amazing process to be a part of and we’re really proud of all the hard work that went in to help an awesome cause!
