TGS Athletics team places well at the NH Zone Day
Takapuna Grammar School had 20 athletes competing in the annual North Harbour Athletics Zone Day. Though all our athletes competed well, the following students managed to place top 3:
Kate Hallie- 1st Junior Shot Put, 2nd Junior Discus
Sascha Leticia- 2nd Intermediate 800m and 2nd Intermediate 1500m
Jodie Nash- 1st Intermediate 1500m
Ava Shaw- 3rd Long Jump and finals for 400m
We also had two senior students, Samantha Korck and Mikaila Dednam, compete at the Central/ West Zone Athletics Day, with Samantha Korck coming 2nd in the Senior Girls 400m, 2nd in the 100m and 3rd in 200m.
